The Kálmán Imre Cultural Center (KIKK) in Siófok won the highest award of the public education profession, the Public Education Quality Award, which was taken over by the Editor-in-Chief of the Institution, Edula Gyulainé Isó, at the gala ceremony held in Budapest on the day of Hungarian culture.

The highest recognition of the profession was awarded to KIKK
 

Zoltán Balog, Minister of Human Resources, and Dr. Péter Hoppál, Minister of Culture, gave the award to the head of the Siófok institute on 22 January 2018 at the Gala Ceremony at the Academy of Music on the occasion of the Hungarian Culture Day. This year, only the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center was awarded this award.

"It is a great honor for us that this year's 50th anniversary of the city of Siófok could have enriched our reputation with this prestigious recognition," said Gyula Nagy Nagy. Two Vice Mayors of Siófok attended the awards ceremony.

"Again, it is a testament to the fact that it is in good hands to shape the culture of the city," said dr. Mayor of Róbert Lengyel, congratulating the head of the institution and his colleagues. He reminded that KIKK had previously been awarded the Qualified Public Education Institution.

We inform the residents and guests of Siófok that the prologue of Tour de Hongrie international bicycle race will take place on 11th June. A closed circle route will be introduced (shown on the map) to ensure the safety of the race. Periodic traffic restriciton is expected in the area of the route the day before. 

 

June 11th 2019 from 13:00 to 18:30 : full roadblock on the circle route.

Vehicles can not access the route shown on the map in this period. 

On the pass points shown on the map periodic pedestrian crossing will be available.
