Imre Varga: The birth of Venus

Imre Varga's work was placed in July 1988 in the Main Square of Siófok. The three elements of the birth of Venus are represented here: water, wind and sun.

The Sun is a golden female figure and a bronze-black shadow, and the two graceful figures are connected by a glittering metal sail, the wind. The third element, the water itself, actually flows into the pool below. The pool of the fountain has been destroyed over the years, so in 2005 it was placed in a new location in another corner of the Main Square.
