Tour de Hongrie starts on Siofok this year
The Tour de Hongrie Organizing Committee from the 2016 resorts selected sports and tourism points in the selection of the venues that came to the program of the Hungarian Circle of 2018, which is now at a higher level.

The aim of the organizers is to make the Tour de Hongrie one of the most important competitions in Central Europe for a few years, an event that is attended by the biggest circus tournaments, Tour de France, Giro d'Italia or Vuelta a Espana , which is broadcast live on continental sports channels.
The 2018 Tour de Hongrie's six-day program will run 800 kilometers in the field, which will run through ten counties and hundreds of settlements.
On the 14th of August, the prologue of the event, the 4 km individual time race, is the capital of Lake Balaton, Siófok. The next day, in the 1st stage, the field goes to Keszthely, on the northern shore of the Hungarian Sea from Balatonalmadi, to the goal set up at Festetics Castle. On the third day of the race between Venice and Székesfehérvár, the arrival of the international field will be one of the main events of the Royal Days of Belarus.
We inform the residents and guests of Siófok that the prologue of Tour de Hongrie international bicycle race will take place on 11th June. A closed circle route will be introduced (shown on the map) to ensure the safety of the race. Periodic traffic restriciton is expected in the area of the route the day before.
June 11th 2019 from 13:00 to 18:30 : full roadblock on the circle route.
Vehicles can not access the route shown on the map in this period.
On the pass points shown on the map periodic pedestrian crossing will be available.
