On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the 1956 revolution, the work of sculptor Tamás Varga was inaugurated in Millennium Park. At the center of the monument is a woman in tears, recalling that after the tragic events of half a century ago, moral commemoration was forbidden, and even crying was not allowed.

The sculptor Tamás Varga was born as the son of the Kossuth Prize winner sculptor, Imre Varga. The stone in the middle of a work of art is made ​​of bronze bust, which depicts a woman crying with bowed head. The monument is intended to remind you at the tragic events of 56 and the factt that after a long time certainly was prohibited the moral commemoration of the past. Next to the Fountain of Tears is a column with a plate, where the names of the sacrificed lifes of Siofok of the revolution are listed.
